Royal Doulton ashtray c1920,advertiseing
cigarettes,transfer printed over glaze in three places:-De Reszke
the aristocrat of cigarettes-coat of arms,by special appointment
to HM the king of the Belgians-and then a pictorial of an aristocrat
smoking a ciggy.Condition is overall good with just a small flake
of glaze missing 5mmx1mm,faint 1" hairline with another
to the base plus one of the T,s in cigarette is fainter than
the other.In mint condition this could fetch up to $100.But this
one on your doorstep for $40. |
